This famous and historic building, standing on the grounds of the remains of a Benedictine monastery of the Order of St. John, has been converted into an office building with its own multi-level car park in the rear.
The building is listed and the design kept the front and side of the original building extending at the rear while keeping the character by repeating the gable modulation. The roof has been extended and used as an open space, allowing a section of it to be glazed to let light and air to the lower levels.
The project was a design and build scheme and the design was used to obtain planning permission.
