Entry to the building was required at 45 degrees to the front. This lead to the introduction of diagonal lines into the room and triangular shapes around the perimeter of the space and the planting area.
The reception desk, with its timber and steel finned vanity screen, was positioned at the approach line centrally from the entrance door.
The materials used were timber veneer for the skirtings, doors, architraves and vertical light supports. The floor, desk and planters, were constructed in two colours of resin bonded granite chips, polished to have a granite look effect at half its price.
