The property is a self contained ground floor flat in the middle of a terrace of houses. The requirement was to extend the living room at the rear, covering it with one piece of double glazed unit measuring 5x2m. The unit was too large to get through the flat. So, a boom tack was hired, the road was closed and the glass lifted over the roofs and lowered into position within 1 1/2 hours. The flat had its second bedroom extended and en en-suite bathroom fitted. |
