The Practice, established in 1990, is based in West Hampstead North London, in premises used as headquarters by a prominent local contractor since 1930. The aim of the chartered architects Practice is to offer a high quality Professional Service providing innovative, cost-effective, practical architectural solutions. These will follow the brief within the constraints of the building to fulfil the requirements of the client.
As chartered architects we have an ethos of following the essential in-depth appreciation of the client's requirements, an efficient structure and a workable programme of the works are established.
In the Inception/Feasibility stages the aim is to explore the site's potential in the fullest possible way always subject to the requirements and capacity of the owner/developer.
Primarily with regards to works on existing buildings whether these are interior modifications, exterior alterations or refurbishments, the qualities used are care, deep respect and consideration for the existing elements.
The strength of the chartered architects practice lies with the experience in working with listed buildings or buildings of character alongside requirements of The English Heritage.
Where the brief allows for innovation and the use of technological advances these are explored fully to achieve results which co-exist harmoniously with the surrounding elements.
New works draw their design from the immediate area to achieve unity or become an element of individuality and character.
A suitable contractor is sought out from a number of contractors whose workmanship has been tried and tested to suit the programme size and practical requirements of the works.
